Shipping / Refunds / Exchanges
In the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase we can refund or exchange the item - the item must be unworn/unused and in sellable condition with the original packaging. We are a European company and work according the Distance Selling Regulations.The item must be UNWORN/UNUSED and in sellable condition. This also includes smells (we WILL NOT accept a return on a bag if it has a strong odour, for example cigarette odours) you are responsible for shipping costs.
If there is a problem with your order that is the result of my error, I will fix it immediately and pay all return and reshipping fees. Please note that when you order the wrong size or colour, the return cost are on you.
How does this work.
* You have the right to return the product within 14 days after your purchase.
* Send us your claim within 5 business days after you receive your order. This is important. We do not accept return for which we have to pay custom fees and incoming taxes and custom fees for a returned product.
* You will be reimbursed for the total price of the invoice. (Item price plus shipping cost) Exception: fees paid for express shipping.
* You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
* When an item is being returned to us, we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
* All sale items, customized items and gift vouchers are final.
* Please send back your order via the POST OFFICE and NOT WITH A COURIER COMPANY - please indicate on the box CLEARLY that the item is BEING RETURNED, we are not responsible (e.g. we will refuse the package) for taxes and duty charges incurred.
* If an item arrives damaged due to postal transit please contact us to file a claim with the post office - the item must be photographed in order to make the claim.
We do our best to photograph the work accurately - please keep in mind that the image colour may appear differently according to your computer screen.
Woolfelt is made by rubbing and rolling the wool. If the woolfelt is rubbed onto another surface intensively it will pill more and wear quickly. This is a natural process. We will NOT exchange or refund on this matter.
If you want to have your bag repaired we have paid repair services available. Please contact us
Levertijden- After receiving the payment, we aim to have your cover delivered within 5 working days and a bag within 10 working days. If the delivery time deviates greatly from these target times, we will let you know. Are you in a hurry? Let me know. We will always try to accommodate it. Addressing - Different delivery address than specified with your order? Send an email to order [at] WestermanBags.com within 24 hours after placing your order, with the confirmation of your order (email) as identification. We are not responsible for incorrect addressing.
Your cover or bag will be packaged as a gift and shipped in a protective envelope or box. Standard shipping with PostNL. You will be notified by email as soon as your cover has been shipped. We use recycled material for our envelopes as much as possible.
Payment -Payment methods of the webshop are: Ideal, Paypal and credit card.
The prices on WestermanBags include 21% VAT and exclude any shipping costs. In your shopping cart you can see the total amount including shipping.
Pay by credit card
The webshop uses the payment system of Stripe, Paypal and Mollie for iDeal. You can pay safely and quickly with all types of credit and debit cards. Your credit card information is not stored with Stripe, Paypal, Mollie or Westerman Bags.
Returns -Handmade products are never as similar as machine-made products are. That is simply not possible. One copy will therefore differ slightly from the other copy. We also adhere to the law "distance selling". We appreciate it if you check the size of your cover GOOD beforehand!
It is possible that the product does not meet your expectations. You can return your purchase within 14 working days. We reimburse the full purchase amount. A few rules:
- Please contact Retour [at] WestermanBags.com before returning anything. (We would like to hear the reason for return - not mandatory)
- The cover or bag is unused and undamaged.
- Return in solid or original packaging.
- The costs for returning are not reimbursed
- Return at your own risk
Customization orders and items with initials and sale / sale items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
After receipt of the cover or bag in its original condition, you will receive a notification by email and the purchase amount will be refunded.
Exchange -You can exchange items by returning the item (s) to be replaced and then placing a new order on the website. Unfortunately we cannot settle orders with each other. As soon as we have received the returned item, we will proceed to pay the purchase amount.
Guarantee and quality
We give a 3-month warranty on all our items. If the cover or bag breaks within this period, you can exchange it for a new one, if available. This applies to seams, stitching and press studs. Please contact us in advance by email. Our covers and bags are made of 100% wool; moths can make small holes in the surface. Wear in normal use is not covered by the warranty. Felt wears out more quickly with frequent sanding with other textiles, especially wool fibers.
